This site is operated by Sports Vectors Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17279576, registered office 29 St. Leonards Road, Amersham, HP6 6DT). What data we collect
We collect personal data through two forms on this site, and in no other way.
The contact form. Your name, email address and the content of your message.
The school assessment request form (on our school offer page). Your name, your email address, the name of your child’s school, the school’s town or postcode, optionally the approximate size of the school and whether you are involved with the PTA, and a record of the consent you gave when submitting the form.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any information about your child through either form.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
Contact form. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — replying to someone who has contacted us.
School assessment request form. We use it to contact the school you name, to offer them a free assessment, and to let you know the outcome. Our lawful basis is your consent, given by the tick box on the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, although we cannot undo a message already sent.
We do not use your data for marketing without your consent, and we never sell your data to anyone.
Who we share it with
If you submit the school assessment request form, we will contact the school you name and tell them that a parent has asked us to get in touch. We do not give the school your name or your email address, and we do not tell them which parent asked, unless you ask us to. Beyond that, we share your data with no one other than the service providers listed below.
Third-party services
Our contact form is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which passes your message to us by email. Our school assessment request form is processed by Netlify Forms. This website is hosted by Netlify, which as host processes technical data such as IP addresses in its server logs. Please see their respective privacy policies for how they handle data in transit.
We host our own fonts and use no third-party fonts, embeds, analytics or advertising services, so visiting this site sends your data to no one else.
Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies required for basic functionality. We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
How long we retain your data
Contact form submissions are kept only for as long as needed to answer your enquiry. School assessment requests are kept for 12 months after we have told you the outcome, so that we can follow up if a school’s circumstances change, and are then deleted. You may request deletion at any time.
Measurements taken at schools
This policy covers our website. Measurements taken during an assessment at a school are governed by a separate written agreement with that school. In summary: the school is the data controller for its pupils’ data and holds the only record of which child is which; our radar records no images, video or audio and produces nothing from which a person could be recognised; and the anonymised aggregate data we retain to build age-referenced baselines contains no personal data. Our school information pack sets this out in full and is available on request.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of any inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Object to, or request restriction of, our processing of your data
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
